Admissions

The Division of Public Safety Leadership has a long-standing history of providing innovative academic programs and applied research. Applicants are leaders in the field of public safety, the military, and intelligence analysis, or those who have been designated as future leaders in these fields.

Admission to our BS and MS programs takes into account a variety of factors, including an applicant’s professional experiences, previous academic record and potential for success. To be admitted to a BS or MS program, students must submit a formal application. At minimum, this will include:

  • Completed online application
  • Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended
  • Professional resume
  • Essay
  • Two letters of recommendation

For a detailed list of the admission requirements, please visit the Criteria webpage. Applications to the program are reviewed on a rolling basis, and those admitted will be placed into cohorts (see Cohort Schedule). Applicants are interviewed, and an admissions committee makes the final selection of candidates.

The Division of Public Safety Leadership accepts applications until the cohort fills.  Please contact them at 410-516-9900.
