Joan DeSimone, Ph.D. has worked as a consultant to business organizations, non-profits, and government agencies in the areas of organization development, leadership development, management development, supervisory development, faculty development, change management, diversity and conflict management, managerial communication, succession management, coaching and mentoring.
Some of Dr. DeSimone’s clients have included: the United States Submarine Fleet in Gulfport, Mississippi; SPAWARS Department of the Navy, Charleston, South Carolina; the Federal Emergency Management Agency; the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), The U.S. Department of Education, National Maritime Intelligence Agency, and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
Joan DeSimone has taught in the graduate and undergraduate divisions of many of the local colleges and universities including: Johns Hopkins University, Loyola College, College of Notre Dame of Maryland, McDaniel College, University of Maryland, and Community Colleges of Baltimore County, as well as the USDA Graduate School.
