Dr. Marc DeSimone is president of the International Leadership Development Consortium, Inc., a successful consulting organization focusing on leadership development, strategic initiatives, instructional design, program evaluation, and continuous quality improvement. The firm has served private corporations, educational institutions, and the military. Among its many clients are The Department of Defense, The Department of the Interior, The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA),The Department of Education, The Federal Emergency Management Agency, The Federal Trade Commission, and The Counter Terrorism Unit of The State Department. Marc has been a member of The Johns Hopkins University School of Professional Studies faculty for many years, teaching in both the Public Safety Executive Leadership Program and Master of Business Administration Program.

Marc has served as Training Manager for Chesapeake Finished Materials and Training and Program Development Specialist for the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. Additionally, he is co-author of the text Empowering the Leader Within as well as other publications. He received his Ph.D. from The University of Maryland, College Park. Marc is a survivor of the attack on America at The Pentagon on September 11, 2001.
