Dr. Stephen Vicchio is known internationally for his research and writing in the area of ethics and integrity. He is an award-winning author, having written numerous books, scholarly articles, essays, and short stories. Steve is a Professor of Philosophy at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland in Baltimore. He spent 14 years as chair of the department of philosophy. Steve served as a primary researcher on the PELP/Justice Department study on first line supervision in policing.
Steve received his B.A. from The University of Maryland, Baltimore County, his M.A. from Yale University, and his Ph.D. in Philosophy of Religion/Ethics from St. Andrews University. He is a member of the Maryland Historical Society Library Committee, the Thomas More Project, the St. Ignatius Academy, and Radio Mass, Inc.
