SOE’s Sheldon Greenberg has been named deputy director of the new Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), National Criminal Justice Technology Research, Test and Evaluation Center (RT&E), funded by the Department of Justice’s National Institute of Justice (NIJ). Greenberg will dedicate 75% of his time to this new venture. While maintaining an office and current email address (Greenberg@jhu.edu) in the Division of Public Safety Leadership, his new primary office location will be at the Johns Hopkins University APL Building MP6, 7651 Montpelier Road, Laurel, Maryland 20723 . Additionally, Greenberg has been appointed co-chair of the Institute of Medicine’s Forum on Global Violence Prevention. The focus of the Forum is to provide a convening mechanism of international stakeholders for the multidisciplinary exchange of information and ideas concerning violence prevention, especially in low and middle income countries.
