PSL Grad Named Secret Service Deputy Director 

Craig Magaw, a 2001 PSL graduate with a Master’s Degree in Community Development, was named deputy director of the U. S. Secret Service last March. The new deputy, who started with the agency as a uniformed officer, is responsible for the Agency’s daily protective and investigative operations, including the ultimate oversight of the more than 6,500 employees and an annual budget of $1.67 billion. Magaw is a 29-year veteran of the Secret Service and is following in the footsteps of his father who was the agency’s director in 1992 and 1993. See USA story on Magaw ’s appointment here.
