Maryland Chiefs of Police Association
Housed at the Johns Hopkins University Division of Public Safety Leadership, The Maryland Chiefs of Police Association is comprised of executive law enforcement officers from state, local and federal agencies, prosecutors and police legal advisors, members of the Maryland Police Training Commission, private sector security directors and interested citizens. The mission of the association is to promote and foster the enforcement of law and order; to increase the effectiveness of the police profession and enhance public confidence in the police; and to improve the quality of life in the communities that they serve. The current Executive Director of Maryland Chiefs of Police Association is Larry Harmel.
